Purpose of the job

Mastering Special Processes across the entire Supply Chain is critical to ensuring the high levels of quality and safety that Alstom delivers to its customers. Failure to effectively control these processes can result in severe consequences, including legal exposure, safety risks, and significant financial impacts (with an average crisis cost estimated at €50 million). The mission of theSQ Special Processes Global Leader is to significantly strengthen suppliers' capability to control and master Special Processes, ensuring consistent compliance, risk mitigation, and sustainable performance across the global supply base.

The main responsibilities are:

Act as achange agentin a global and transversal approach to significantly improve how Special Processes are mastered across the supply chain, preventing quality crises arising from supplier failures.
Build, develop, and deploytransversal initiatives within Alstomto strengthen supplier quality processes and enhance ways of working with suppliers, increasing overall quality assurance.
Contribute as a member of theAlstom Special Process Robustification core team, leading the adaptation and deployment of the Supplier Quality stream within the 3-year Adapted Control Plan.
Collaborate closely withIndustrial, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality functionsto ensure robust action plans are defined and deployed to suppliers, focusing on the most critical risks. Ensure that supplier practices are aligned with at least the same level of standards applied within Alstom.
Define and monitorperformance metrics, track progress against objectives, provide clear visibility, and drive achievement of targets.
Promote and communicate the plan extensively across theSupplier Quality and Procurement communityto ensure alignment, engagement, and adoption.
Ensure thatcritical supplier issues related to Special Processesare thoroughly analyzed, with continuous adaptation of the plan based on lessons learned (REX - Return on Experience).

The Special Process Global Supplier Quality Leader is a member of Alstom SQ Management Team. Mandatory:

Strong Industrial experience, focus on Industrialization, Quality & Management of Special Processes,
Experience in suppliers management (Supplier Quality Desirable)
Good mastering of P-FMEA & Quality Control Plan definition,
Strong Natural leadership to lead our Suppliers and Supplier Quality networks,
Successful Experience in Lean Six Sigma & Transformation Projects,
Minimum work experience: 8 years,
Fluent English is required.

Travels to Alstom sites & suppliers - 20% of timeIdeally based in St-Ouen
